The concept of New York Flamenco Jazz Project is that of a collective with changing line ups, featuring distinct artists from both the flamenco and the jazz world. Fifteen musicians from around the globe contributed to the projects first release MOSAICO. A fusion of flamenco with its earthy rawness and passion and jazz with its free spiritedness, harmonic sophistication and improvisation, the music is further inspired by Indian, Arabian and classical music.
